Sunny founded Flying Fish after more than a decade in the public school system, bringing with her a deep understanding of child development, curriculum design, and what it truly means for a child to feel seen.
She holds a diploma in Early Childhood Education and has spent her career building environments where children develop not just academically, but emotionally, creatively, and socially. Her approach is warm, evidence-based, and deeply child-centred.

Sunny believes that the greatest gift an educator can offer is genuine, unhurried attention — listening not just with ears, but with eyes and heart. She designs Flying Fish around this belief, from the materials on the shelves to the rhythm of the day.
